School Caretaker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caretaker to provide essential support and care within our Client’s facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment while ensuring the comfort and well-being of the children and visitors. This role is vital in promoting a positive atmosphere and enhancing the quality of learning and development.

Duties

• Keep and safe environment
• litter picking
• ensuring health and safety checks are carried out
• Carry out Minor repairs
• delivery of fruit and milk to classes
• this is not an exhaustive list and the client will specify requirements when needed

Experience

• Previous experience in a caretaker or similar role is preferred
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is advantageous to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
• A compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and children.
• Ability to work independently demonstrating reliability and flexibility in duties.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week

• CARETAKING: 1 year (preferred)
• Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
• janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (preferred)
