Job Description

An exciting opportunity for full-time, experienced estate gardeners to join our expanding gardens and grounds team at Mawley Hall and Kinlet Hall, privately owned estates near Cleobury Mortimer in South Shropshire. The house, gardens, and wider estate are undergoing major restoration and redevelopment, including creation of a new Fountain Garden and reinstatement of the Walled Gardens.

We are looking to recruit skilled, knowledgeable, motivated gardeners to work with the Head Gardener and gardens team to develop and maintain the gardens, grounds, and the wider estate to the highest horticultural standards. We invite applications from individuals with a minimum of two years horticultural experience in a private estate, historic or botanic garden setting; formal qualifications are desirable.

The salary package will be competitive and commensurate with ability and experience.

40 hours per week 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri. Occasional weekend watering duties may be required with time off in lieu.

28 days holiday per annum inclusive of Bank Holidays.
