HR Recruitment Officer

MASH DIRECT is seeking to appoint a Temporary, Part TIme
Recruitment Assistant (possibility of extension of contract)
Required to work alongside the Head of People and Culture to support the provision of a full and professional recruitment service to the Company. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their HR skills and knowledge within a busy HR team.
Managed by the Head of People, you will be responsible for drafting candidate recruitment packs, social media and web management of job postings, administration of applicant tracking, managing interview arrangements and taking the process through from job brief to successful hire with the wider support of the People team.
In addition to supporting recruitment and selection practices, there will be some ad hoc HR generalist administration.
Your Profile
You must have some prior experience of working in recruitment and in an HR office, preferably within a production environment. You will understand the workings of an HR office in a fast paced environment. You will be willing to learn new skills and to expand your knowledge of HR practices and procedures in a food production environment.
Essential Requirements
- Develop and implement effective recruitment campaigns to attract the right talent
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and provide recommendations for hiring.
- Utilise social media management tools to promote job openings and engage with potential candidates.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate information
- Provide support in employee onboarding and orientation processes.
- Assist in developing training materials and programmes for new hires.
- Working knowledge of current employment legislation particularly in relation to recruitment.
- Excellent people skills
Desirable
- CIPD qualified (or part qualified)
- Prior manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrates resilience in a challenging environment.

Pay: From £14.25 per hour
