Mary Handy is a hair and beauty salon in Henley-On-Thames providing a spa-like experience for all of our guests. We are a professional, dynamic, innovative, and close-knit team and this filters through to our guests, who are more like family than just customers. Established for nearly 13 years, Mary Handy Henley has built a reputation within Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire for both beautiful hair results and unrivalled customer service combined. Our newly opened beauty suite is the final piece to our puzzle – creating amazing beauty results for our already loyal hairdressing clientele. Mary Handy Hair & Beauty is a luxury salon which recently relocated to Henley-on-Thames after 11 years in nearby Wallingford. Our guests have followed us to these brand new, bigger premises and we are really excited to announce this new opportunity for a Beauty Therapist to join our friendly team to grow our Beauty Business.
We are looking for a great all-round therapist who loves the beauty industry and providing the best in customer care. *Ideally, this would be on an employed basis however for the right candidate, we would considering renting the room on a freelance basis.* You should be proficient in most beauty treatments and have an interest in expanding your knowledge and skillset to other areas and growing yourself as a team member. We’re looking for that special person who likes to do everything to the highest standards, has a true passion for what they do and is a great team-player!

● You will also be someone who offers a 5* customer experience to every client.
● You will be able to use your initiative to engage with your team and clients.
● You will be confident and excel at meeting set targets, both for Retail and Treatments.
● You will be able to maintain the company standard operating procedures
● You will be able to proactively manage your diary ensuring that you are maximising revenue potential at all times.
Requirements:
● You must have a NVQ Level 3 or above (or the equivalent )
● You have an interest in Holistic treatments such as Reflexology and Specialist Massage.
● You must be able to offer treatments such as Facials, Massage, Waxing, Manicures, Pedicures, Tinting
● You must be comfortable and have experience in providing intimate waxing and waxing/treating both male/female guests.
● Experience in treatments such as the following is a benefit but not essential (Mesotherapy, chemical peels, micro-needling, HD Brows (or of a similar nature), Lash Extensions (Volume Lashes), Make-up and Threading.
● You must be flexible to work Saturdays and some evenings

Pay: £23,795.00-£31,673.00 per year
