Night Traffic Operator

Job Description

Martello transport is a new and fresh thinking company providing nationwide container haulage services.

We currently have an opening for a Full time Nights Traffic Operator and Part time Nights traffic operator (Salary pro rata).

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday 18.00 – 0600 am

Main responsibilities of the night operation will include:

• Booking and amendment of VBS slots
• Re routing of vehicles top optimise service levels
• Communicating with customers and subcontractors of issues that may arise
• Servicing customer request for updates on information
• Dealing with vehicle breakdowns and liaising with suppliers.
• Ensuring administration requirements are completed accurately.

General requirements are:

• Good IT skills
• Confident telephone manor
• Familiarity with Port VBS systems
• Good geographical knowledge

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications are required for this role

Salary

• Negotiable depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £38,500.00-£45,000.00 per year
