Marstons plc
Tynewydd Inn, Barry
Job Description
Pub
Tynewydd Inn
Overview
The Tynewydd is in a great location right in the heart of housing on a busy main road with a primary school directly opposite so there are plenty of sales opportunities to tap into. Walking into the site you are greeted with a dark wooden floor stretching right to the bar, which runs along the rear of the site. To the left is more of a social area with a pool table. Moving to the right you enter the restaurant side of the venue with tables in small sections that keep them slightly private. In front of the bar, high poser tables are used for regular drinkers and customers wanting to have a more relaxed atmosphere. The pub also has the added bonus of a skittle alley which is used throughout the week by its many skittles teams. Moving outside the site has a small patio area at the front and a beer garden at the side.
The demographic is a mixture of older customers during the day that utilise the weekly food offers along with local drinkers and families. The site benefits from a large carpark which means it does bring people from further away. The site is also close to Barry Town United Football club and has plenty of housing next to it that you will be able to captalize on.
