Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Curtain and Blind Maker to join our dynamic team on a part-time, hybrid basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crafting high-quality curtains and blinds, excellent customer-facing skills, and administrative experience to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities

– Design, measure, and craft bespoke curtains and blinds to meet client specifications and design briefs.

– Collaborate with the design team to ensure alignment with overall project aesthetics and functionality.

– Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on fabric choices, styles, and installation options.

– Conduct on-site consultations and measurements to ensure precision and client satisfaction.

– Manage client interactions with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive and personalised experience.

– Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and supporting project coordination.

– Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all projects.

– Assist in the installation of curtains and blinds as needed.

Qualifications

– Proven experience as a curtain and blind maker, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

– Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.

– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

– Administrative experience, with proficiency in office software and organisational skills.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

– Knowledge of current trends and innovations in fabric and window treatment design.

– Valid driving licence and ability to travel to client sites as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
