Senior Maintenance Technician

Marlin operates a premium collection of Serviced Apartments, Hotels, and Aparthotels across central London and Dublin.
As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Our Maintenance team carry out a mixture of proactive and reactive maintenance tasks, resourcing appropriate engineers where necessary. Maintenance Operatives are the first point of escalation from Reception for maintenance related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across apartments, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Emergency Response: Attend to urgent maintenance issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
- Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential issues.
- Project Management: Oversee and execute small renovation and refurbishment projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide junior technicians, providing training and support to maintain high standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance tasks, inspections, and completed work.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, ideally in hospitality, residential, or serviced apartments.
- Previous experience with using a maintenance software to update daily tasks.
- Strong decorating and painting experience in a domestic setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
