Registered Nursing Home for Religious Sisters run by the Trustees of the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.. Marian House is set in pleasant grounds and in the words of our own staff, ‘ is a lovely place to work.’ Our residents are religious Sisters who have given their lives to caring for those in need either in Ireland, the U.K or overseas. Many are approaching the end of their lives and are in need of the highest level of nursing or palliative care. Some are living with a dementia and experience of this very special area of care is essential. The Home has strong Christian ethos. We are an equal opportunity employer but it is essential that our staff demonstrate an appreciation of the religious way of life of our residents.
We provide a good ratio of nursing and care staff to residents ensuring that as a member of staff that you have a good level of quality time to offer to each resident. Residents attend a Roman Catholic Mass each morning and other prayer services during the day. This time allows staff to attend to essential paper work and other duties. Here at Marian House, good team work enhances the quality of life of the residents and provides our staff with a high level of job satisfaction.
