Marcegaglia Stainless Sheffield is recruiting for a Despatch Team Worker to join our stainless steel bar finishing unit. Your role will be in support of the bar finishing business objectives to develop Process, Plant, Procedures, Systems and People. You will assist the Team Leader in their duties, with particular reference to the setting and controlling of designated bar finishing equipment so as to achieve finishing size and sectional quality..

Marcegaglia Stainless Sheffield has three sites across Sheffield, and they include our own Melting Shop called SMACC (Stainless Melting and Continuous Casting), that produces semi-finished products such as slabs, billets, blooms and ingots; ASR (Alloy Steel Rods), our rolling mill that produces wire rod, bar and rebar and SSB (Sheffield Stainless Bar), our bar finishing unit.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.17 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
