About the Role:
As a Perishable Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing a portfolio of high-value perishable import clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics process for perishable freight, ensuring timely and cost-effective handling. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in freight forwarding, particularly with perishable or time-sensitive cargo.

Experience: Proven track record in sea freight forwarding, particularly with perishable or time-sensitive cargo.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively leading cross-functional teams.
Customer Focus: Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within existing and potential accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Growth: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value perishable import clients, developing and maintaining long-term relationships.
Operational Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end logistics process for perishable freight, coordinating closely with operations, customs, and warehouse teams.
Relationship Building: Collaborate with internal teams to offer tailored logistics solutions and conduct regular business reviews with clients.
Procurement & Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating and optimising supplier contracts.
