Junior Automotive Engineer

Role: Junior Automotive Engineer

Site Location: Cranfield – Working pattern – 3 days in the office / 2 days at home – however this may change depending on work requirements.

Rate: Up to £23.47 per hour PAYE

Duration: 12-month contract

Key Activities

• Exterior Trim + Lighting: Development from initial concept through to mass manufacture of parts made by suppliers and parts made in house
• Working with the support of your senior engineer and the wider team you will be Developing parts to meet quality/cost/delivery targets.
• Problem solving concerns for build & test failures (digital and physical).
• Managing supplier and in house parts.
• Working with styling team to feedback during digital development phase.

Qualifications, skills, training requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Product/Industrial Design or equivalent.
• Familiar with CAD Software for example Siemens NX Some experience in a professional engineering design role / automotive industry would be an advantage
