Job Description

We currently have fantastic opportunities available for a Factory
Operatives, on a permanent basis, at our factory based in Latchingdon, Essex.

Working hours: Monday to Friday – (36
Hours per week)

*Saturday Hours also available*

Factory Operative Responsibilities –

  • Be working as part of

the team in production.

  • Assisting in the

production or packing of all food products produced by Kismet Kebabs.

  • Operating machinery

and equipment as required for the above activity.

  • Carrying out a variety

of cleaning duties as directed.

  • Ensures firm’s

policies and procedures are followed.

  • Complying with Company

hygiene policies and procedures when undertaking operations while
maintaining high standards of personal hygiene

  • Working in a safe

manner with due consideration for personal Health & Safety and that of
co-workers at all times

  • Must be autonomous.

Factory Operative Requirements.

  • Prior knowledge/experience of operating food production machinery.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.
  • Respect shown to all people & customers of Kismet Kebabs.
  • Shows initiative.
  • Able to remain calm and focused during times of peak workload or during difficult situations.
  • Supportive and promoting of change, has a positive attitude and desire to drive forward

new or improved initiatives.

  • Approachable at all times.
  • Proactive and always striving to achieve the best from own work as well as the work from the team.
  • Basic knowledge of HACCP from a food environment
  • Due to location, own transport is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: Wages on application and depends on experience.

Training will be given.
