Production Line Operator

Temporary Production Line Operative -Manufacturing
Location: Wetherby- Remote (Car required)
Hours: [8-5]
Contract: Temporary (6-8 Weeks)

Manpower are currently seeking a reliable and physically fit temporary staff member to join our production line for a period of 6-8 weeks at our clients manufacturing facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.

Key Responsibilities: Production Line Operative

• 
  Manual & Automatic Filling of containers
• 
  Labelling products and batch coding
• 
  Carton Building & Filling for product packaging
• 
  Ensuring Compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Regulations
• 
  Maintaining Cleanliness by cleaning work surfaces and ensuring hygiene standards are met
• 
  Heavy Lifting (up to 25kg) – Moving containers and boxes from pallets to the production area

Skills and Experience:

• 
  Physically Strong & Fit – Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25kg) and perform manual tasks in a fast-paced setting
• 
  Own Transport – Must have a car as the site is in a remote location with limited public transport access
• 
  Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in filling, labelling, and batch coding
• 
  Ability to Work Under Pressure – Meet production targets and deadlines in a timely manner
• 
  Team Player – Collaborate effectively with the production team
• 
  Commitment to Health & Safety – Always adhere to PPE guidelines and safety procedures

Uniform & PPE:

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, including a lab coat, hairnet, gloves, and safety boots (provided by Client).

Pay & Hours:

  Hourly Rate: £11.44
• 
  Start Date: Immediate
• 
  Location: Wetherby – Car required due to remote location
