Operation Key Account Manager
Job Description
We are seeking several experienced and dynamic Operations Key Account Managers to join our team at our Portadown Headquarters.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of key accounts within the transportation and logistics sector, ensuring exceptional service delivery, fostering strong customer relationships, and supporting the strategic growth of the business.
This role will manage customer relationships and will be responsible both for improving service delivery standards and ensuring the growth and development of the business.
As part of your responsibilities you will lead operational excellence, manage the initiation of new contracts, and drive continuous improvements across all areas of customer service.
About the Role
· Oversee the day-to-day delivery of services across a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
· Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, developing strong, professional relationships to ensure smooth communication and operations.
· Develop tailored customer management plans to meet individual account requirements.
· Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, ensuring continuity and efficiency in service delivery.
· Co-ordinate with internal teams, including maintenance, to ensure all operational needs are met.
· Collaborate closely with the Commercial Team to develop and implement effective actions and solutions that drive business growth and enhance service delivery.
· Prepare regular performance reports and present KPI Reports to both customers and internal stakeholders.
· Lead the integration of new customer contracts, ensuring seamless transitions.
· Contribute to the strategic growth of the business by identifying opportunities for account expansion and service development.
Essential Skills & Experience
· Proven experience in operations or account management, preferably within the transportation and logistics sector.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships at all levels.
· Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results under pressure.
· Proficiency in IT systems, including TMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
· In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
· A proactive and customer-focused mindset, with the ability to address challenges professionally and efficiently.
Additional Information
This role will require occasional travel to customer sites and flexibility to manage operational demands, including some weekend work.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
