Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Coffee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant coffee shop. This hands on role combines customer service, food and drink preparation, and managerial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will enjoy cooking, baking and decorating cakes, and engaging with the local community.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and high-quality product delivery.
• Train, mentor, and manage staff to maintain excellent customer service.
• Build strong relationships with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Cook a variety of hot breakfasts and lunches to a high standard.
• Control food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage inventory levels, order stock, and oversee deliveries.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop environment.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive workplace.
• Contribute unique creative ideas to attract new customers.
• Organise, promote, and run exciting events to engage the local community.

Skills

• Proven experience within a similar role is preferable.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation and production. (Preferable)
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Capability to adapt and make the most of both busy and quiet working environments.
• A passion for coffee and an understanding of various brewing techniques is beneficial.

Must be willing to work weekends, early mornings, and the occasional evening.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
