Job Description

Our Client a well-known national transport business require HGV2 drivers to join their team in Portbury, Bristol.

The Role

Successful candidates will be required to make curtain side pallet deliveries to retail outlets. There will be minimal handball involved in this role as deliveries are taken off by forklift at delivery point.

This is a Monday-Friday role, start times typically between 0500-0600 daily. Shifts are 10-12 hours in length but can vary.

This is a weekly paid role during trial period.

Requirements

  • Current valid UK Cat C driving entitlement
  • Minimum 12-months experience in driving this class of vehicle.
  • Current valid DQC and drivers card
  • No more than 6 endorsement points – No DR, DD or CD endorsements.
  • Candidates must undertake a brief driving assessment and theory test

Job Description

Magnus Search Recruitment is offering a great opportunity for Cat C Drivers in Portbury to work on a contract for a nationwide distribution & logistics company.

What you will be doing:

This is a position where you will be delivering to retail fashion shops and outlets, throughout the South West & Wales.

The Job involves completing 5-6 drops per night, as part of a 2 man team, where you will be delivering fashion items in totes and hanging rails, some lifting is required, so you will need to be reasonably fit.

Immediate start on completion of a driving assessment and induction is also required.

Requirements for the role:

· Full Cat C UK driving license, CPC, Driver Card.

· 12 months Cat C Driving Experience

· Punctual and reliable

· Good Customer Service Skills

Working Schedule:

· Start time is 15.00 daily (may vary slightly)

· Working Sunday to Thursday

· Temp to perm positions for the right candidates.

Pay Rate:

£17.00 per hour
