What role will you play?
As a front end engineer you will take part in the full solution delivery lifecycle, working on development and delivery of in-house solutions and will be a part of an evolving DevOps culture that gives you ownership of your solutions and applications. We encourage our team members to play multiple roles; from business analysis and requirements gathering to delivery and risk management. Through this process our team gains a better understanding of the process of product delivery and has an opportunity to develop different skills and explore different career paths.
What you offer
  • 6+ years’ experience building and maintaining new and existing applications using Angular
  • A good understanding of APIs and REST
  • A strong bias to test-driven development (TDD) and automation (unit, feature, integration, and regression)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Location: This role is 100% based at our new HQ in Snodland, Kent (not remote working)

This Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join us on our fast-growth journey!

We’re seeking a creative and adaptable individual to join our dynamic design team in a brand-new role. Reporting to both the Head of Design and IT Director, with a direct connection to the Conversion Rate Optimisation Lead, this position offers an exciting opportunity to shape its scope and grow within the company.

Initially focused on supporting the design team in creating and optimising landing pages, this role will play a critical part in transforming workflows and processes. There is significant potential for involvement in A/B testing and broader website optimisation initiatives, making this a perfect role for someone passionate about web performance and user experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Landing Page Development:

Convert design mockups from the design team into fully functional, high-performing landing pages.

  • Website Updates and Fixes:

Ensure timely updates and resolution of bugs across the website to maintain optimal functionality.

  • UI/UX Optimisation:

Enhance the website’s user experience through speed improvements, performance enhancements, and usability refinements, including implementing and analysing split tests.

  • Email Optimisation:

Support the team in optimising email templates for better engagement and conversion rates.

You’ll excel in this role if you have the following skills & experience:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Bootstrap 5.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of web performance, with a focus on site speed optimisation.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in e-commerce (preferred).
  • Proven ability to translate design concepts into functional web pages or components.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
