Working along side the extrude operators to batch build and use mixers. To follow a recipe and have prep the product for the production currently in progress.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and production, adhering to strict food safety protocols.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with HACCP standards throughout the production process.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory management and production measurements.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely, demonstrating mechanical knowledge as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining quality control.
• Report any issues or discrepancies in production processes to supervisors promptly.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is essential.
• Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and inventory management.
• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot production equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with food production processes and best practices is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
