Forklift Driver/Warehouse/Incoming Goods Operative

Job Description

Experience of working in a food environment desirable, training will be provided.

Hardworking, Organised and can work in a fast paced environment.

Assist in the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Checking Incoming Goods and Despatch product prior to leaving site.

Maintain warehouse – organised and clean at all times;

Job Duties:

• Check Incoming Goods to ensure that they meet specification, complete relevant paperwork, place stock away.
• Maintain paperwork and complete checks on FLT
• Move and stack materials
• Complete Stocktakes
• Keep production lines supplied with packaging materials as needed
• Check trailers on arrival and despatch
• Organise stock ready for despatch, including pallet stacking.
• Complete despatch paperwork correctly to ensure traceability of products can be followed.
• Rotate floor stock
• General housekeeping duties in the warehouse area and duties as assigned
• Follow current good warehousing practice
• Receive/process shipments
