Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Car Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Duties

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in various types of vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
  • Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs and modifications.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components.
  • Assemble parts and components accurately to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition and necessary repairs.
  • Assist with heavy lifting of parts or equipment as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various automotive systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanour.
  • Familiarity with automotive schematics is desirable but not essential.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred.
