Class 1 HGV Driver (Tramper)

Job Description

Kings Lynn based client looking for HGV 1 / C+E Trampers, as part of there growth they are rapidly bringing in new vehicles, this client are long established and looking for regular, reliable and experienced HGV 1 drivers to join the team.

A friendly and busy traffic office that manages a growing fleet, most of the work is on Pallets, which will require strapping and netting. You could be delivering cans of drink then getting loaded with fence panels to deliver to Liverpool etc.

The client really does have a varied product it delivers and collects across the country. This role suits drivers that want week in week out work, and a good solid set of hours, there are runs that do go into London and Fridays will be late finishes.

Drivers need to be able to communicate in English, in a calm and professional manner, you must be physically capable of strapping your loads and prepared to night out, 12 months Minimum UK Driving Experience essential.

Monday to Friday £17.00 Per Hour

Saturdays (rare but when done) £20.00 Per Hour

Nights out £25.00 per night

rates are PAYE and include holiday accrual

• FULL UK Driving Licence (12 Months minimum experience)
• Drivers Cpc
• Digi Card
• Prepared and able to conduct daily defect checks
• Able to strap loads
• Must be able to keep traffic office informed of delays or challenges
• Able to communicate in a friendly and polite manner
• Looking for Regular Long Term assignment
