Food and Beverage Server

Job Description

Izakaya Shingen is looking for an energetic and competent server who is willing to learn, to join our team of servers!

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests brightly and prompt them to their tables.
• Take orders from guests and place them into the POS, and answer any questions and suggest recommendations about our food and drinks including providing
• Serve food and drinks to the tables efficiently.
• Prepare bills for customers when required.
• Bus tables in a timely manner, and place tableware for our next guests.
• Make simple cocktails and prepare other drinks, pour draft beers, and refill water jugs.
• Pack takeout orders and answer the phone in a positive manner.
• Troubleshoot restaurant issues such as complaints with a positive attitude.
• Stock drink canteens, napkins, chopsticks, and other service items.
• Sweep, mop, wash barware, clean bathrooms at the end of each night.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of serving or waitering experience is required.

Certification: Smart Serve, SIR or equivalent required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$24.50 per hour
