E-commerce Retail Business

We are rapidly growing E-commerce business serving B2C & B2B customers with six warehouse distribution centres across the UK.

Job Summary

As a Quality inspector, you will play a critical role within the organisation. You will be responsible for the quality improvement of our current and new range of products. Working closely with Product development and quality assurance department based in UK & China.

Job responsibilities include:

· Responsible for product quality analysis and inspection of defective products.

· Warehouse returns analysis and reporting.

· Monthly reporting of product defect rates and provide feedback to Product development teams.

· Participate in monthly quality video meeting to address major quality issues and improvements.

· Implement quality improvement projects to enhance overall product quality and reduce return rates.

· Perform regular quality assessments on new product lines from Inbound shipments.

· Analyze incoming new products to ensure they meet the specifications outlined in the Product Specification System

· Inspect inbound products for carton dimensions, product dimensions, functionality, and final product specifications.

· Conduct quality assurance checks on improved items for feedback.

· Liaise with China HQ regarding overall product quality concerns and improvements

· Resolve all issues in a timely and organised manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field as, Product development, manufacturing, Engineering or quality management.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in areas such as product development, procurement, quality control, or manufacturing.
• Have a strong quality awareness and understanding of the basic requirements of the national product quality system.
• Certification in quality control is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel to other Sites within UK as required.

Fluent Mandarin and English (required)

Job Type: Full-time, Based in Northampton distribution Centre.

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
