GENERAL ASSISTANT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns promptly
  • Support housekeeping staff with cleaning rooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Assist in the hotel restaurant by setting up tables, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables as needed
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold the hotel’s standards of service
  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as light repairs, painting, and upkeep of hotel facilities
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

The Role

  • Merchandising, ordering, date checking and rotation of stock in all areas of the store including fresh, ambient, and frozen.

Role Criteria

No need to worry if you have no previous Deli or retail experience, Full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, works well as part of a team and is open to learning and expanding on their skill set.

Desirable:

  • GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent) and/or 6 months previous experience gained in retail or customer service role.

Role:
