Job Description

Duties-Competent Joiner/Carpenter required for busy nationwide company.

MEC Fire Services LTD require a Joiner/carpenter to carry out the manufacture and installation of fire doors in a number of hotels.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Dependant on competence and qualifications

Expected hours: 45 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift

Work Location: In person

– Assemble and fabricate wooden components according to specifications
– Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine measurements and materials needed.
– Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials using hand tools and power tools
– Install cabinets, doors, windows, stairs, and other wooden fixtures
– Repair or replace damaged wooden components

Skills
– Knowledge of paint application techniques for finishing wooden surfaces
– Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky materials
– Strong carpentry skills for constructing and repairing wooden structures
– Familiarity with a variety of hand tools for woodworking tasks
– Ability to assemble and fabricate wooden components accurately
– Knowledge of power tools used in joinery work

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: £25.00-£40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
