Job Title: Children’s Ride Refurbisher

Place of Work: Skegness

Reports To: Team Leader

Colleagues Reporting: Nil

Contract type: temporary with possibility of becoming permanent

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Children Ride Refurbisher to join our team. The

successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding, repairing, cleaning, polishing, and

testing used children’s rides to ensure they are safe, functional, and visually appealing. This role

requires a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Main Duties

 Diagnose issues in used children’s rides.

 Perform necessary repairs

 Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and regulations.

 Thoroughly clean all parts of the rides, removing dirt, rust, and old paint.

 Polish and repaint rides to restore them to their original condition or improve their

appearance.

 Perform regular safety checks and inspections as per company protocols and industry

standards

 Work in a safe and orderly manner

 Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times

 Planning your work to produce consistent quality standard work within a given

timescale

 Comply with the policies and procedures of the Company

 When necessary assist in other areas, within your capabilities and training

Skills Qualifications and Experience Required:

 Experience in work with Glass-Reinforced Plastic

 Experience with hand, air pressure and power tools

 Accuracy and attention to detail

 Commutable to Skegness

 Good team player and communicator

 Reliability and punctuality essential

 Experience in a similar environment is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £26,140.10 per year
