Part-time Receptionist
Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our students and parents, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role requires a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet parents and students in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls promptly, ensuring effective phone etiquette at all times.
- Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office records.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for team members.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as required.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
- Utilise Google Suite for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Support administrative tasks as needed to enhance office efficiency.
Skills
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in administrative functions with experience in office settings.
- Competent in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficient in Google Suite applications including Docs, Sheets, and Calendar.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
