Job Overview

We are currently seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. The role involves providing essential care and support to individuals in a care home setting.

Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and eating
• Support the implementation of care plans under the supervision of senior staff
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment within the care home
• Drive residents to appointments or outings when necessary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care assistant role, ideally within a care home or home care setting
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes
• A caring and empathetic nature towards residents
• Full driving license is desirable but not essential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.22-£11.44 per hour
