Job Description

We are currently advertising for a cleaner /laundry who will be part of a dedicated and motivated housekeeping team who strive to provide the best care and support to the adults who live at Kings Court. You will play a crucial role in ensuring visitors or professionals visiting the home receive a positive first impression of the residents home by ensuring areas are kept to a very high standard of cleanliness.

Please note that the work hours are 8-2

You will be working a 2 week rota.

Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

You will also be required to cover annual leave/sickness within the department as needed so you will need to be flexible.

Main Duties include:

To be responsible for ordering and maintaining cleaning equipment stock.

To clean and maintain communal areas within the care home, including cleaning surfaces and vacuuming and dusting.

To maintain residents laundry and the laundry area ensuring you comply with infection control

To have an understanding and comply with all COSHH regulations.

To work within the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

To attend training courses as identified and agreed for appropriate development.

To comply with current legislation concerning infection control.

To report maintenance issues immediately, e.g. broken equipment.

To ensure the appropriate recording and audits required are prioritised.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 21 per week
