Play Worker

Job Description

These posts are permanent positions NOT temporary. Our children aged between 5 and 12 require several new Play Workers to join the team of staff who look after them from the end of their school day to 6pm and during school holidays. The children want play staff who are friendly, good fun but also mature and responsible enough to cater for all their various needs. We are looking for applicants with experience working with this age group and formal qualifications in childcare. We would consider applicants with other relevant qualifications who are prepared to apply to study for formal childcare qualifications. Hours available: 14 hours Monday – Thursday, 2.30pm until 6. Due to providing full day care during school holiday periods shift duration will be 5/6 hours between 7.30 am and 6 pm

PVG Disclosure checks and references will be required for successful applicants. All staff are required to register with the SSSC within 3 months of commencing employment.
