Garment Processor

Job Description

Join our award winning team at out Kilts 4 U in Hillington. Our fast paced environment requires a keen eye for detail, quality assurance and accuracy.

Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• picking stock from a pick list,
• quality control and inspection prior to dispatch to customer
• unpacking returned stock and putting away correctly
• accuracy of orders to go other locations
• helping where necessary in various parts of the operation
• working as part of a team
• Keeping work station clean and hazard free adhering to Health and Safety at work.
• We want to hear from people with a background in warehouse, garment cleaning, quality control, clothing industry. All training will be given.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Attention to detail
• A friendly, professional and engaging personality
• Excellent organisational skills
• Team player
• Sewing skills are desirable
• Ability to work under pressure & achieve deadlines
• Know the ins and outs of garment cleaning,
• Understand different fabrics and how to handle them with care.
• Need to be able to work on a Sunday.
• Full training provided.

Start: ASAP

What we offer in return is a competitive rate of pay with a temporary contract initially, with a secure contract on completion of satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
