Kids Start is an Ofsted outstanding private day nursery in the heart of Northenden. We are looking for an enthusiastic, exciting and passionate Senior Practitioner to join our wonderful team.

Kids Start provides high-quality care and early education to children aged 6 months to 5 years. Kids Start is proud to be a partner in the Department for Education, Northwest Stronger Practice Hub, which aims to reduce the impact of COVID on children and their families. We pride ourselves in our strong ethos and drive to ensure that all children access quality care and education.

Training and support are key to any role within the early years. Kids Start offers fully funded and bespoke training for all staff. This training is specifically planned around individual roles, interests and professional development. In addition to individual training, Kids Start closes three times a year for training days. This is an opportunity to complete whole team training specifically planned to support the children in our care. Wellbeing support is strong and Kids Start provide a host of individual and team incentives and rewards, including non-sickness bonuses’, room awards, 50% childcare discount and an award for the Practitioner of the Month. We also ensure that we recognise smaller achievements through the use of our ‘wow awards’ and golden time.

The role will include supporting the general day-to-day running of a specific room as well as the wider team, working closely with parents and carers, observing and planning to meet the children’s needs, safeguarding children and most importantly being a kind, caring and supportive practitioner to the children in our care.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner. The candidate must have a suitable Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
