Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Ensure that all areas are left tidy and organised after cleaning is completed.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve cleanliness goals.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve cleanliness goals within designated timeframes.
• Follow health and safety rules and regulations at all times by wearing the correct PPE and using colour-coding systems.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

The working hours for this role are; 2 hours per day, Saturday and Sunday, with the opportunity for overtime during the week for relief cover.
