Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or maintenance needs.
  • Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
  • Ensure that all areas are left tidy and organised after cleaning is completed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve cleanliness goals.

Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Weekend Cleaner

Saturdays and Sundays

Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm all year round

Knole Academy in Sevenoaks is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking weekend cleaner to provide a clean, hygienic and welcoming school environment for our students, staff and visitors.

Salary £24,040 – £25,002 pro-rated to £7,796 – £8,108 (£12.46 per hour) for 12 hours per week.

Duties will include taking responsibility for specific areas of the school cleaning surfaces, hoovering floors, wiping down fixtures and fittings, emptying bins within classrooms, offices, toilets and changing rooms.

Our home, Pine Tree Court, a lovely home in Gloucester, is looking for someone to work efficiently, conscientiously, safely, and to maintain high standard of cleaning.

Responsibilities include:
