Catering Assistant -Saturday Part Time- Liskeard

Job Description

We are a farm that produces our own sausages, bacon and pork products. We have multiple catering kiosks around Devon and Cornwall.

We are looking for a Saturday catering assistant to help work out Liskeard catering kiosk at Mole Valley Farmers

alternate Saturdays

8hr shift

Example of day to day tasks:

·

· Cooking meat to be served for that day

· Preparing vegetables

· Stock management & ordering in the absence of the supervisor

· Maintaining hygiene standards and documentation

· Following correct closing down procedures at the end of the day

· Cash handling

Requirements:

· Flexible approach to working hours and practices

· Demonstrate high standards and be well organised

· Must be reliable and trustworthy

· Excellent customer service skills

· High standard of cleanliness

· Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety would be an advantage

· Food hygiene certificate level 2 (although we can provide you with the training for this if you are the right candidate)

· Can work well both alone and as part of a team.

· Catering/chef experience would be preferred, but is not essential.
