Automotive New Business Development Executive (Part time)

Location: Leeds LS13

Hours: Monday to Friday flexible – 10am – 3pm / 9am – 2pm / 930am – 230pm

Salary: £13-£14 per hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our small family business. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development.

Duties

• Answer inbound sales calls
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
• Identify potential clients and market opportunities through research and networking.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare reports on business development activities, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Utilise Salesforce for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
• Proficiency in using software tools; experience with Salesforce is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
