Yardman/Fork lift Driver

Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a Yardman with a Counter Balance Forklift license to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating the forklift, loading and unloading and on occasion driving the van, so a drivers license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operating the forklift to load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Helping in the yard moving products to designated area.
• When required driving and delivering products.

Shift Pattern

Days 7.00am- 15.30pm Monday to Friday (some days might require longer hours)

Overtime and weekends available.

Pay

£13 p h

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with materials such as steel handling techniques and best practices would be advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 25 kilograms) as required.
• Experience of operating a side loader would be beneficial but not essential
• A valid forklift operator certification is essential.
