Job Title: Engineering Storekeeper

Salary: £16.93 – £18.32 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday (07:00 to 15:00)

Location: Brighton

A great opportunity for a Stores Person has come up for a client of mine in the Brighton area.

My client, a large transport company with a sizable depot in the Brighton area are looking to recruit Stores Person on a 1-year contract with the possibility of this being extended.

Stores Person Duties:

• Assist with lifting and moving stock within depot whilst we change our stores set up from vehicle base to component
• Provide support with stocktakes
• Support all stores with stock movement between depots
• Labelling and organising all stocks locations
• Raise orders and receipt in stock
• Up-date computer records
• Conduct stock checks
• Manage fuel and oil levels on a weekly basis
• Any other reasonable stores duties

Stores Person Skills Required:

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering stores or similar environment
• Experience of operating a computerised stock keeping system
• Full driving licence
• Ability to understand and use electronic systems, with experience in Microsoft suite of applications
