Driver and Warehouse Assistant – Ferndown Branch

Salary – £26,769.60 plus overtime, bonus and benefits

Hours:

• Basic 45 hours per week
• Monday to Friday 7.00am – 4.30pm
• Saturday mornings on a rota
• Stocktake weekend once a year

Main requirements of job:

• Driving Licence
• Good customer service skills
• Knowledge of bathroom products preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated, ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Main purpose of job:

To ensure that the branch delivers excellent customer service by:

• providing an effective delivery service for the business
• serving customers efficiently and politely
• assisting in general warehouse duties as required

Main tasks of the job:

• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Delivery of plumbing and heating products to customers
• Moving stock both manually and by the safe operation of mechanical handling equipment
• Order picking for deliveries
• Putting stock away whilst ensuring stock rotation
• Serving customers quickly and efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,769.60 per year
