School Cleaner – Hitchin

Job Description

Keane Cleaning is looking for a Part time School Cleaner to join our team in the location of Hitchin.

The role is for a school clean and tasks include:

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of all floors
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces, including desks, chairs, shelves, and inside windows.
• Disinfecting high-touch areas, such as door handles, light switches, and handrails
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
• Bin removal and replacement of liners
• Spot cleaning of walls and other surfaces as needed
• Additional cleaning tasks as agreed upon

The ideal candidate must have:

• You must have your own vehicle and full UK driving licence as you will be required to drive.
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
• Good communication skills
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided

Working days/times:

• Monday to Friday
• 2 hours per day, anytime after 3.30pm
• DBS required at company cost

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
