IN PERSON – A-Level (Yr 13) Psychology teacher – West Ealing

Job Description

The family are looking for an A-Level Psychology teacher to provide in-person lessons to their son who is in Year 13 (in West Ealing, London) and due to take his exams in May. He is struggling with Psychology and he is not really sure why he is not doing as well as he could do with the subject. They need a tutor to help their son understand the topic areas and help him prepare for the A-Level exam in May. They require a tutor who can help unpick what he is struggling with and why and then put strategies in place to make him more confident in his own abilities.

He requires a tutor who can help push him at the level he is currently working at but someone equally someone who can boost his confidence. He is a fairly laid-back student but keen to work hard.

Good days and times: Thursday or Friday from 2pm onwards but open to suggestions also from the tutor re availability

Number of hours per week: 1 hour a week to start off with but building up to 2 hours max

Available to begin: ASAP

In-person lessons to start off with but may move to online once a relationship has been established

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week

Education:

• Bachelor’s (required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• QTS (required)
• Enhance DBS (required)
