Overview
Kane Haulage Limited are seeking an talented HGV Class 1 driver to join our team driving one of our Low Loaders. Comprised of a MAN tractor unit and a 5 axle rear steer Faymonville trailer this state of the art up runs with a Gross Weight of up to 160 tonnes carrying both our own earthworks and demolition plant, and that of third parties, across the length and breath of the country.

Duties Include
– Loading and unloading plant machinery from the vehicle
– Operating and maintaining the lorry in a safe and efficient manner
– Transport Heavy Plant Machinery throughout the country
– Helping to provide the strong service within the industry we have become known for

Information

The position would suit someone with Low Loader or Step Frame experience, although this is not essential as ‘on the job’ training will be provided

Some nights out will be required, sometimes with short notice

Abnormal loads and some escorted work

Competitive wage and company van provided

Pension Scheme

£960 per week (incl bonuses) plus overtime and additional night out pay
