Job Title: Repro Operator/ Technical Retoucher (packaging)

Location: Leeds– Hybrid

Salary: Dependent On Experience

The brand creation and implementation agency that bring clients brighter creative thinking that cuts through the chaos. Now looking for a new addition to their team they’re searching for a Repro Operator/ Technical Retoucher.

About the role:

With strong reprographics and retouching skills who plays a key role within our team. You’re part of our enhanced design and artwork process offering through the use of automation, which ensures our services stand out in the packaging world.

With these ideals you will be responsible for creating production automation templates of the highest standard. Working closely with the core team is a must, to ensure high standards are met and excellent quality is achieved. You will leverage your expertise in automation, reprographics and retouching to streamline the creation, management and optimisation of packaging artwork. Your role will ensure faster time-to-market and brand consistency for our clients.

Supporting and working with the department leads and managers, you will help to deliver key production automation initiatives and plans into the studio. You’ll also help identify, champion and drive innovations in technology for continual improvement throughout the business

Purpose of a Repro Operator/ Technical Retoucher:

Contribute to the performance of the Packaging Studio through the consistent delivery of high quality, accurate artwork / repro files and colour-corrected images for print-based projects.

Skills

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator and Photoshop
• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail
• High levels of organisation
• Proficient in file, folder and digital asset management
• Prioritisation of high volumes of work to achieve all tasks on time, on brief and on brand

Experience

• 3+ years industry experience within artwork and packaging creation
• Comprehensive guideline / toolkit / knowledge bank creation – strong brand guardianship
• Able to follow process and procedure to a high level
• Working within a team to drive forward efficiencies in a collaborative manner
• Previous experience of working closely with Client Services within an agency environment

Knowledge

• An understanding of database systems and technology
• Knowledge of print processes and colour management
• IT Literate
• A good understanding of brand and corporate guidelines and how to follow them
