  • Procure necessary components and materials, working closely with suppliers to ensure availability and quality standards.
  • Develop and manage project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Provide technical guidance for the integration of advanced systems, including powertrains, chassis, and specialized vehicle modifications.
  • Conduct regular design reviews, offering actionable feedback and ensuring alignment with customer needs and regulatory standards.
  • Take a lead role in troubleshooting issues during prototype builds, ensuring timely resolution through hands-on problem-solving.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and solutions to the Head of Business, including management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce project and product-related documentation where required.

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering field (Master’s preferred but not essential).
  • Proven experience in special vehicle development, including hands-on project management.
  • A strong track record of practical experience in testing, assembling, and troubleshooting vehicle systems.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools desired.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of homologation, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with advanced materials, hybrid/electric systems, and emerging automotive technologies is advantageous.
  • A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
