Job Summary
We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic Front of House staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar role, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service. You will be the face of our establishment, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well cared for. Experience as a bartender is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring an exceptional first impression.
  • Order Management: Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring special requests and dietary requirements are communicated to the kitchen.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and professionally, maintaining high service standards throughout their visit.
  • Table Management: Assist with seating arrangements, table set-up, and clearing to ensure the dining area remains clean and organised.
  • Customer Engagement: Build rapport with guests, offering menu recommendations and addressing queries or concerns.
  • Team Support: Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Bartending: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, to a high standard when required.
  • Cash Handling: Process payments accurately and handle transactions securely.
  • Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a front-of-house role in a restaurant, café, or similar hospitality setting. Bartending experience is a strong plus.
  • Customer Service Skills: A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisation: Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Teamwork: A strong team player who can work collaboratively with others.
  • Bartending Skills: Knowledge of drink preparation, cocktail-making, and a general understanding of bar operations is advantageous.
  • Attention to Detail: High standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service delivery.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour
