What you will be doing
As a valued member of the team, you will supporting educational activities through your daily tasks, which includes but is not limited to;

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Ensure all areas of the nursery, including playrooms, bathrooms, outdoor area and kitchen facilities, are kept clean and sanitised to high standards.
  • Regularly inspect toys, equipment, and furniture for cleanliness and safety.
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious breakfasts, snacks, and lunches for children, following dietary guidelines and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including washing dishes and storing food items appropriately.
  • Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organising children’s clothing and linens.
  • Ensure that laundry facilities and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
  • Assist in the opening and closing procedures of the nursery, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to established policies and procedures.
  • Secure the premises at the end of the day, including locking doors and windows, and setting alarms.
  • Complete all daily checks as outlined by the management team
  • Support in the room ratios where required

Job Description

DSB Housekeeping is a professional, domestic housekeeping service. We look after clients’ homes in and around the Wolverhampton area. Here at DSB, we strive to provide a high quality cleaning service for our clients, while also providing a supportive and positive working environment for our team. Responsibilities: Perform thorough and efficient cleaning tasks such as; dusting, sanitising surfaces, hoovering and mopping. Ensuring high hygiene standards are met when cleaning bathrooms and kitchens. Make beds, change linens and handle laundry. Organise and declutter living areas. Aspire to exceed client expectations by paying close attention to special requests and taking extra care with personal belongings. Work well with team members by ensuring clear communication to help provide a smooth working environment. Requirements: Cleaning/housekeeping experience is preferred but not necessary. Must be physically able to perform cleaning duties, which may include lifting heavy items such as furniture. Have a Uk valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
