Contract Coordinator
Job Description
We’re looking for a Technical Contract Coordinator to join our collaborative team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Operations Manager and other departments to ensure the successful delivery of our projects. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a major framework contract and gain valuable experience in contract administration.
- Experience: Proven experience in a technical administrative role, with a strong focus on daily scheduling and planning.
- Qualifications: A good level of education (A-Level Standard)
- Attitude: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with both colleagues and clients.
- IT Efficiency: Strong IT skills, encompassing proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages, Sharepoint and Mayrise. Knowledge of PowerBi would be advantageous.
- Work ethic: You will demonstrate an attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Collative: Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team with a collaborative nature.
Role and responsibilities;
What your role will include:
- Support: Assist area managers in administering cyclical maintenance or capital programs and updating inventory.
- Maintain: Project schedules in accordance with planning and control processes and contractual requirements. Log supply chain personnel and associated accreditations.
- Communication: Monitor, control, and analyse project programs. Produce reports on project cost and schedule performance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Working alongside Suffolk County Council departments to raise permits.
- Build and maintain: Strong relationships with key teams, including estimating, site, design, construction, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Understanding: Possess a good understanding of the end-to-end delivery process.
- Problem Solving: Identify and assess the impact of potential changes on project timelines and plans. Communicate changes effectively to the project team.
- Reports: Produce and anaylse reports to contribute to monthly KPIs.
