Are you as passionate about marketing as we are? Our Marketing team is growing and we have a fantastic opportunity within our well-established and growing equipment rental Company for a Head of Marketing to contribute to the success of our marketing strategy and successfully lead the Marketing department.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute the Company’s marketing strategy focusing on business growth.
  • Lead the marketing department, set clear objectives and provide support and guidance.
  • Liaise with the Sales Director and Sales team to keep well informed of the marketplace and implement marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and manage advertising campaigns, monitor progress, analyse and provide performance insights and recommend improvements.
  • Manage the design and communication of new product literature to customers and staff.
  • Oversee the branding of products, to include livery upkeep and style.
  • Oversee email marketing campaigns, including managing databases and distributing e-shots weekly through platforms such as Mailchimp.
  • CRM Management, including reporting on activity and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with third-party agencies on PPC campaigns and oversee ongoing website development projects.
  • Create engaging product videos by capturing and editing content in collaboration with the Sales team.
  • Manage social media platforms for all brands, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
  • Develop and implement SEO plans to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Oversee website management, including producing and uploading content across all company websites.
  • Trade show management – organising trade shows and events related to company promotion.
  • Manage and report on marketing department budgets
  • Host regular marketing meetings, ensuring company directors are kept up to date with performance.

What you’ll need:

  • Excellent knowledge of marketing concepts and principles.
  • Excellent copy writing, editing and proofreading skills. Attention to detail is paramount.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, possessing creative flair and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to successfully execute an agreed strategy and present at board level.
  • In-depth understanding of digital and social marketing best practices.
  • At least 5 years’ marketing experience at a senior level and a relevant degree in Marketing or similar.
  • Full valid driving licence to travel between depots and attend events.
  • Experience in a similar role within the Equipment Rental, Construction or Engineering industry would be advantageous.

Job Description: Group Marketing Manager

Reporting to Group Director of Sales & Marketing

Main duties:

To ensure the Marketing Strategy is implemented and executed accordingly to the Langan’s Brasserie, Chucs, KX and KXU brands.

Key responsibilities:

Developing and executing a robust and comprehensive marketing strategy

Ideation and facilitation of multi-channel, creative campaigns, promotions and collaborations

Oversee and direct our social media & digital platforms – including content creation and regular posting

Research and secure strong brand partnerships across all sectors and relevant to the brands

Competitor insight, analysis and market research/trends

Measuring and evaluating the marketing activities and initiatives, including the drafts of weekly marketing reports

Communicating marketing activities to third party platforms & ensure all are updated

Support events and management where necessary

Management of brand’s websites and updating with new and relevant content

Support Marketing Director on management of third party, retained agencies including PR, Digital Advertising and website provider

Support with managing photo/video shoots

Work closely with brand’s teams/membership managers to support with updating relevant collateral, brochures

Writing and proof-reading all HTML copy to be sent out to databases

Candidate specifications:

Proficient in Canva, In-Design

Experience growing social media channels and managing all digital presence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
