Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to animal welfare and provide high-quality medical care to a variety of animals. This role involves diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, and conducting health examinations, all while ensuring a supportive environment for both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status.
  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and diseases.
  • Perform surgical procedures as required, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment options, preventive care, and follow-up procedures.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Stay updated on the latest veterinary practices, techniques, and advancements in the field.

Experience

  • A degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution is essential.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary diagnostics is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members.
  • A genuine passion for animal care and welfare.

Pay: £60,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
