Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a dynamic team? Dyno-Rod is looking for a Office Admin Supervisor to join our team in Harlow!

Basic Salary of £25,000 – £30,000 – OTE £40,000

  • Monday – Friday

The Role:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-organised environment.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
  • Handle incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments for colleagues and customers.
  • Support other administrative tasks as required to facilitate office efficiency.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competence in computerised office systems and software applications.

Please note that this position is subject to right to work, enhanced DBS, financial background, and DVLA checks due to working in a regulated environment and dealing with sensitive customer information.

This Office Supervisor role is a varied and involves managing and overseeing the administrative and client-facing functions of this chemicals business in Elland and plays a key role in coordinating with the operations team to align office functions with overall business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and support the Account Managers, ensuring effective client management and administrative operations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient team culture focused on delivering excellent client service.
  • Oversee the management of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of sample requests and related documentation.
  • Acting as the primary point of escalation for client issues, resolving concerns effectively and professionally.
  • Support month-end reporting, invoicing, and other financial administration tasks.
  • Ensure office staff adhere to all health, safety, and compliance policies.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Must have:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a sales / customer support office environment.
  • Leadership and supervision skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities.
  • Multitasking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with stock and order management systems
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in office environments
  • Familiarity with HR procedure and legislation.
  • Background in Chemical, Manufacturing or relevant sectors.
  • Full UK Driving License
